University webmail uses IMP (http://www.horde.org/imp/); this works fine but on
alternate clicks on the inbox list, for selecting a message, mozilla brings up a
'download' dialog for the .php3 file.

This is not a problem with ns4.77, so am filing as a mozilla bug.

...which might not help reproducibility... :(

reporter (Neil Pilgrim): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of
mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if
not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
