Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020512 BuildID: 2002051206 The style attribute (css2) is not implemented for xul elements. DOM inspector can show the current style so there is probably a way to read the attribute, but what is probably more needed is a way to write to the attribute (dynamically change the style)

The style attribute works fine. Are you saying there is no "style" property which gives access to the CSSDeclaration that is defined by the style attribute? Note that DOM inspector uses getComputedStyle(), which is the correct way to get current style values.
