Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1)
Gecko/20020417
BuildID: RC1 and RC2
When clicking on a link that invokes an external application (plug-in) such as
PDF viewer GetRight download manager, the URL line correctly reflects the URL of
the file to download.
When pressing the Back button the previous page loads, however the URL line
still shows the URL of the file.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Option A:
1. Go to a page with a link to a PDF file.
2. Click the link to view the file.
3. Press the Back button.
4. The previous page loads but the URL remains that of the PDF.
Option B:
1. Install GetRight download manager and configure to capture download links
from Netscape/Mozilla.
2. Go to a page with a link to a file for download.
3. Click the file link.
4. GetRight should start and Mozilla displays a message that the download
request is passed to GetRight.
5. Press the Back button.
6. The previous page loads but the URL remains that of the file.
I'm using Mozilla since version 0.99 which didn't exhibit this problem. The bug
was introduced with RC1 and remains in RC2.
This is a generalization of the problem reported by someone else in 143827. My
apologies if my report is considered a duplicate, but I don't know how to add my
comments to someone else's report.
