Bug 1458814 makes animations not roundtrip through strings, which give them slightly more accurate floating point values. I suspect the blob invalidation code is caching the wrong surface inappropriately?

I cannot seem to reproduce the bug out of the reftest harness though :(

This looks pretty minor. So I'd say no.
