User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20180404120016
Expected results:
The height of the URL bar and bottom bar is too big. Compare it to Safari on iOS and you see that Firefox is leaving less room for content. (Check attachments)
I know the bars autohide on scroll but you end up using them often too or whenever you scroll up. It is especially annoying because I have an iPhone SE which has a smaller display than the other iPhones.

The toolbars are almost identical in size. However, the viewport size seems to differ greatly and the font size used in Safari is much smaller.

If you compare the screenshots side-by-side,there is a small but noticeable size increase of both the toolbars.

If you look at the attached overlay image here, you'll see that there's a small size difference between the toolbars, but it is at most 6-10 pixels. There's a bigger problem here though which is that the web content is detecting a different viewport size which is why your Safari screenshot shows much more content than the Firefox screenshot. If the only difference here was the size of the toolbars, the amount of visible web content in both screenshots would be nearly identical, minus 6-10px. I don't believe UX is planning on reducing our toolbar size, but the viewport issues are certainly a problem which is why I renamed this bug to address it.
