Steps to reproduce:
deactivate "Select this folder for foffline use" & "Include messages in this folder in Global Search results" for Gmai'sl Important and Marked folders
Actual results:
The deactivation isn't persistent
Expected results:

Do you still see this when using a newer version?
With Thunderbird started in safe mode? (Help > restart with addons disabled)

Hi,
check with a different folder not with Gmail's Important and Marked folders, at least form them it works as expected.
