Steps to reproduce: 0. Starting with a fresh profile (so restore previous session isn't set) 1. maximize the window 2. close and then launch the browser from a desktop icon The window first appears maximized, then it quickly switches to the non-full size. I got this regression range but it seems unlikely that the changeset there is related: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=2b1fd7848a12c99ea2c3a03ab8bf6e53f26835ca&tochange=28452fd08a415f3dbb59999b4e286e028759eaf5 It does seem to have happened between nightly 2018-05-09-22-01-05 and 2018-05-10-11-06-09, though.
