User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 Build ID: 20180511100427 Steps to reproduce: Currently nothing as I use the currently supported Flash plugin from the Adobe site. However the Flash plugin will cease to be officialy supported at some future date, which is concern in respect of a number of legacy site I access (Flash mainly being used to replay Audio content). Actual results: Currently the "Flash" plugin works if activated, however as detailed above this is not a long term soloution. Expected results: What should happen is that the Firefox browser recognises that there is Flash (i.e SWF based content present), and provide a suitable in-browser alternative that can render basic Flash content without the need for an unsupported proprietary plugin. YouTube has already moved to HTML5 so supporting video formats is less of a priority.
Duping to the only chance of seeing Flash support in Firefox without the Flash plug-in: Bug 1451083 There won't be any built-in support for Flash: Bug 904346 Bug 1264552
