From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020521 BuildID: 20020521 Though page I access is encrypted, and Mozilla correctly tells me this when I click on the security icon in the lower right corner, that icon never displays in its "locked" mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load www.uboc.com 2. Click on the UseBank@Home button Actual Results: Mozilla enters the link with 128-bit encryption active, but the icon on the lower right never changes to its "locked" mode. This may make users very nervous. Expected Results: Obvious
Testing with a current CVS, Linux, the lock icon engages almost immediately when clicking the usebank@home link. WFM. Something similar was reported in bug 144626. Did you perform a clean install (after an uninstall) - or install over an older build?

I did not do a clean install. After going back and uninstalling and then installing, the problem is gone. Thanks. I will only do clean installs from now on. I was getting lazy.
Thanks for quick feedback. Resolving as dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 144626 ***
