Steps to reproduce:
I tried to login to my old account and it asked me for a Github account. There was an account recovery button and it said it had sent a recovery email but did not received it.
Actual results:
Did not receive recovery link in my email
Expected results:
Link to recover my account

Assuming that the server does send emails, there is not much we can do on the recipient's side.
Have you checked your spam folder?
