From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020514 BuildID: I have not had crashes for some time in Mozilla under OS X on an iBook until RC2 and now I get about a crash a day. I have not been able to see any common denominator in the URLs that crash the browser. Above is a URL at a news site that crashes Mozilla RC2 under OS X on an iBook. Other "articles" at the same site do not crash the browser, this URL does not crash Omniweb, nor does it crash Netscape 6.2 on an iMac under Mac OS 9.4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/astronomy/brown_dwarfs_020522.html using RC2 under OS X on an iBook Actual Results: Mozilla "unexpectedly quits" Expected Results: page loads
do you get any stack trace for this crash ? Do you have any Flash plug-in installed ?

I have installed nothing beyond what was in the RC2 "disk image". I do not know where to look for a stack-trace, but would be happy to post this is someone tells me.
I don't know much about MacOSX, sorry, I thought when crashing, Mozilla would generate something in the console (?).
Please create a OS X crash log and attach it (via "create new attachment" link) to this bug. Under OS X, you can enable CrashReporter to provide this data. See [http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1057.html].
WorksForMe using both FizzillaCFM/2002051005 (RC2) and FizzillaCFM/2002052108.
Just got RC3. The space.com articles that crashed rc2 on an ibook under OS X now work fine.
Thanks ! -> wfm
