Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020512
After playing with smtp settings, I can not send mail and I can not change smtp
settings anymore. Mozilla simply crashes when I try to send mail or change smtp
settings.
Using "Advanced" button on POP3 account preferences also crashed Mozilla.

1- You should try to use a new profile
2- check your user.js that contains the settings for your smtp server under
mail.identity... preferences and see if there is anything abnormal.

BTW check also the properties under "mail.smtpserver" in your prefs.js (as
advised in bug 125338 comment 2).
I am not sure if my advice in previous post is relevant.

Upgrading to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0+)
Gecko/20020525 solves the problem.
