1462525 - on the new version 59.0 + all versions after. if I take my mouse and click on the Bookmarks tab it totally locks up my computer everytime

Steps to reproduce:

opened up firefox


Actual results:

when i go to the bookmarks tab and try to click on it my com puter completely stops and nothing works  I repeatly have to hit ctrl+atl+del to  get out of firefox


Expected results:

my Bookmarks should have opened up so I could have looked at them and used the import tool that is Only located there

I'm not sure if I understood correctly what did you mean by "bookmarks tab" and I might need more precise steps to reproduce. However, given that you mentioned the only place where the import tool can be found, I assumed that you clicked on the "Bookmark menu" button (check the attached file).

In that case I couln't reproduce the issue on latest Nightly 62.0a1, Firefox Release 60.0.1 and Firefox Beta 61.0b6. Also tried on Firefox Release 59.0. without any success in reproducing.

Can you please retest the issue using a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8) as well as safe mode (https://goo.gl/AR5o9d) on the latest Firefox Release 60.0.1 and Firefox Nightly 62.0a1? Any additional information regarding the steps to reproduce would be highly appreciated.
