From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020517 BuildID: 2002051706 When going to a few sites, I find that mozilla seems to never finish loading the page. I thought this was a slow server at the site end, but I copied the url into IE6 and the site loads in a snap. All links off the site are quick too. Meanwhile, mozilla is still churning in the background. FYI, I have HTTP pipelining turned on. Anecdotally, I've turned it off on some other trouble sites, and haven't seen a difference. I don't always get this, but it happens enough to still give me the impression that mozilla is not there yet... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.docdvd.com/reviews/pioneerdv47asecondlook_review.shtml 2. Wait for page to load. 3. Wait some more... Actual Results: Page takes forever and a day to load. Snappy (unfortunately) on IE6. Expected Results: Page should load pretty quickly from this site.
Loads in a matter of seconds on a day old cvs build, Linux. What are your preferences for pipelining under advanced/http networking?
Do you see this if you turn pipelining off and clear the disk cache ?
It's worse with the cache cleared. I switched HTTP pipelining off then on and saw no difference either way. BTW, I'm having this problem at work on NT, I need to test this at home on W2K.
Found another example of a page that won't finish in moz RC3 but is snappy in IE6: 1. Go to http://www.crutchfield.com 2. Click on "My Account". 3. Page won't load or won't finish loading. I think I've also seen this on other secure pages.
Oops, instructions should be: Found another example of a page that won't finish in moz RC3 but is snappy in IE6: 1. Go to http://www.crutchfield.com 2. Click on "Your Account". 3. Page won't load or won't finish loading. I think I've also seen this on other secure pages.
Just tried "Your Account" again at www.crutchfield.com and secure page never finishes loading with Moz 1.0. Should I log another bug? Here's a direct link: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-254ZWafpkm8/scgi-bin/userlogin.asp This loads in a snap under IE6. Haven't tried this page under M1.1B since I just uninstalled it. It is constantly using 98% of my CPU time.
