This mailing list was created in bug 1200901. It never got a lot of traffic, and hasn't received any non-spam messages for a couple of years now. More importantly, a ton of new members have signed up recently, all with @yahoo.com and @aol.com email addresses. This seems extremely suspicious, and I figure it's best to close it down to prevent any attempts at illicit activity. I guess it would be nice if the archive could be preserved, though it wouldn't that much if this isn't possible.
