That would be nice to have ability to delete cards from addressbooks in the Select Addresses (Composer > Compose > Address) window. There are buttons: "New" and "Edit" but no "Delete" button.
I agree this would be a decent feature. I can find no duplicates

Thunderbird no longer has a Select Addresses window, I guess that's what became Contacts Sidebar. In there, contact deletion is possible, so this is WFM. Basic Edit contact has just been restored. Unfortunately, New Contact/Mailing list, which apparently had dedicated buttons in the former Select Addresses window, got lost in 102 (up to 91, available from AB context menu button in Contacts Sidebar).
