I, and I'm sure many others, would be delighted to own a top-quality Mozilla 1.0
T-shirt, complete with big Commie red star and hungry lizard on sinister black.

The project has taken awhile, but it's built to last. Charge the extra $3 and
make sure the T-shirt has some longevity too! None of these cheap flimsy ones,
y'hear?

With a story tag-along (or highly modded comment) on Slashdot, I bet mad cash
could be raised with such a sale...
They're not quite art - but they are here. Because, sheez, nobody else seems to
want to sell 'em.

Check out "ShirtZilla" at http://www.cafepress.com/shirtzilla.

The shirts are for sale "at cost" - I'm making no money on this. It's all about
spreading the Good News of the Gecko.
ShirtZilla is still commercial (for CafePress if not you), so may hit the vexed
trademark issue (bug 28028).

(OTOH, would losing a possible trademark to the public domain through inaction
be a good idea?)

The 1.0 FAQ ( http://mozilla.org/start/1.0/faq/general.html#1.8 ) says:

There is also a page of Mozilla promotional banners for your website.

You can also make your own T-shirt from shirt2.gif or shirt3.gif with an
inkjet printer and T-shirt transfer paper (it’s an open source project, after
all), or buy a MozillaZine shirt.

(The MozillaZine shirts are on CafePress, but I don't recall any non-MZ images
on them)

I think that's enough to close this bug. mozilla.org isn't in the T-shirt
business.
