From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020512 Netscape/7.0b1 BuildID: 20020512 This page is ok. But when you click on a link to download mp3, a small window pops up. And whenever that window's up, my cpu usage goes up to >95%. When that page's close, everything goes back to normal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://www.boxup.com/big5/artist/female/SYZi-7.htm#Leave 2.click on one of the link in mp3 download section (where there're 1/2/3, just click on anyone of those) 3.a new small window will pop up, and cpu usage will go up whenever this windows exist. Actual Results: CPU usage goes up to >95% Expected Results: CPU usage goes up slightly when windows's opening, then go back to normal rate (which is usually <10% for me) I'm using Netscape 7.0 PR1, but in my experience when using mozilla (until some time during early April 2002), this didn't happen. IE also has normal cpu usage on that page.
well, not neccessary >95%, but after testing several times, the lowest bound for my computer is 86%. My ocmputer is PIII800
can you reproduce with a current build ?
I think the current build's ok... so it's done....
