As part of migrating Elasticsearch from SCL3 to Service Operation's AWS infrastructure, we want to migrate the data that Elmo has in Elasticsearch. I gather from searching Bugzilla that you already have backups of this data using elasticsearch's built-in snapshot functionality. I think it would be good for us to work out a process for transfering a snapshot and go ahead and do it once to prove that it works. Then we can schedule a time to do it again closer to the Elmo cutover.
