User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0
Build ID: 20180524100118
Steps to reproduce:
Open firefox on a recent version of the alpha of the sway window manager. Open netflix.com.
Actual results:
This causes firefox and other open windows to hang, and the Xwayland process goes to 100% cpu utilization. If left alone, the entire system will hang after a while. This also occurs in other Wayland window managers.
Expected results:
The site opens normally. I have attached a core dump from when I switched to another tty, logged in as root, and sent SIGKILL.
Please correct if this isn't the right component for this to go under. We don't have Sway Window Manager available so not sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Sway Window Manager issue.
