One way to make tests run faster is to not create a new session for every test case. Only some test cases actually require a new session.

Attachment: Bug 1464184 - Reuse test session by default;

Instead of creating a new session for every test case, we can get away
with reusing the same session for the most part. This results in a large
decrease in testing time due to lower overhead.
