User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0 Build ID: 20180521110957 Steps to reproduce: I'm using Thunderbird to connect to Google Calendar via "Provider for Google Calendar". I have an appointment that someone else made and put me as one of the attendees. I haven't accepted or denied the meeting (so it has a dotted border, assuming that's what that means). The meeting is *well* in the past by now. Actual results: Two things are wrong. 1) I keep getting a reminder for it. It's useless and annoying, because the event is well in the past. 2) Whether I dismiss or snooze the even makes no difference. After either, a secondary popup comes up (usually on a different one of my monitors, someones even on a different VDesktop!!) that asks me to "submit my changes anyway" or "discard my changed and reload". It makes no difference which I choose. After that, the reminder dialog instantly pops up again. I also cannot delete it. That too, pops up the dialog from (2) and never actually deletes the event. All I can do is remove the reminder by editing the event, and hope that'll shut it up. This doesn't happen for all events (from Google Calendar) but only certain ones. I'm not sure what do and which don't cause this problem. Expected results: 1) A reminder should pop up in a logical location, without being intrusive. 2) The "submit my changes anyway"/"discard my changed and reload" popup should not pop up at all, or at least not on a different monitor and certainly not on a different VDesktop. 3) Deleting an event should delete it. 4) Reminder should not pop up *at all* for past events. They are useless and annoying. A reminder popup should not condition people to get annoying and click it away (even if that's possible) because that makes reminders useless in principle. They should pop up only (and *only*) according to the scheme defined in the event.

#1 and #4 are covered in other reports that I've just read. I've just seen #2 myself, covered by bug 1518413 and perhaps others. #3 needs the reporter to retest, but the reporter is gone
