In a new profile & new instance, open these two URLs in separate tabs:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Romania/new/
https://news.ycombinator.com/

Open a new tab and type "new/" - usually autocompletes to the first URL
URLbar shows "new/ >> news.ycombinator.com/"

This seems to be a recent regression.
