Steps to reproduce:
When writing a new mail message there was virtually no response to keystrokes
Actual results:
Editing was impossible no characters entered appeared in the mailmessage
Expected results:
Typing should result in a written message

The Intel driver and install assistant tool proved to be causing the problems.
Response is normal again.
