new install of rc3 and javascript is not working

Details

The browser cannot open new windows. I can't even see the Help->About Mozilla nor File-> New -> Navigator Window. also I can't seem to install rc2 back over it. rc2 may have crashed a lot but at least it was functional.
Reporter: Have you installed over an older build ? If yes: Please uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\mozilla.org\ (but save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla. If you still get this : Please uninstall all third party Themes and/or delete all files in Profile/Chrome/
Seemed to fix the problem. Sorry for the trouble. I usually do a separate install based on version. This time I just copied over. Bad move.
