Details

Mozilla browser 1.0 RC1, RC2, RC3 all have this problem In preference->advanced->proxies dialog box, Using manual proxy configuration, proxy address edit boxes can not cut or paste using right mouse context menu at all. Why? When you select Copy in the right mouse button context menu, the edit box will lose focus and all the highlighted selection will NOT be copied to the clipboard or whatever tempory memory it is using. Thus you can not paste the same ip address to any other edit boxes. Yes, keyboard Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V works because it will not cause the selection to lose focus. Thank you for inventing your own widgets, but they suck.
confirmed. 2002052306/Win2k SP2
This is probably Windows-only, because on Linux it too looses focus, but the text is still placed in the clipboard.
