I tried to read my messages after setting a mail account. When the password
dialog appeared the cursor was not and would not appear in the text window.
Since sometimes the text cursor is invisible I tried entering my password
anyway, but no asterisks or anything appeared.

Reporter, what build of Mozilla are you using? I have seen this reported before,
so I think this might be a dupe.
