User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20180430140610 Steps to reproduce: Notifications were working at www.strengthnet.com but stopped, and the onesignal bell icon disappeared. I suspect this happened when I updated the 52 ESR version on Windows XP, but I cannot say at exactly what point it happened as I was not aware of it immediately. Actual results: I deleted the profile storage folder, and the bell icon reappeared, but clicking on it does not now subscribe to notifications. Still works fine in Chrome 49 on Windows XP and Firefox 60 on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, but not on Firefox 52 ESR on Windows XP. Expected results: Clicking the bell icon should have initiated a notifications subscription. Confirmed as also not working at <https://xn--90aexm.xn--80ag3aejvc.xn--p1ai> which is the only other site I've found using the same system.
Based on the following official declaration (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/end-support-windows-xp-and-vista ) Firefox no longer supports Windows XP. Due to the above information, I believe that the development team is no longer involved in investigating issues encountered on Windows XP.

Thanks, I do understand that, but this issue is not operating system dependent. As a test of this, I installed Firefox 52.8.1 ESR 32bit on Windows 10 (I have a multi-boot machine) and it shows exactly the same behaviour on Windows 10. Firefox 60 works fine, so it's a problem with that version of Firefox 52 ESR, which as far as I know is still supported at the moment, although only for a few more months of course. It would be good if this could be investigated and fixed so that at least it works in the last version of 52 ESR! The issue seems to be only with onesignal notifications, other notifications, e.g. from YouTube, seem to work fine. Just to reiterate, the issue has nothing to do with Windows XP, it also happens on Windows 10 with that Firefox version, so I hope it can still be investigated. Thanks, Dave.
This is definitely an issue. Is there any way anyone that can assist with it here? I'm on Mac OS 10.14 with Firefox 63.0. The bell is missing only in Firefox. ??? And what's the deal with the pw reqs for this site. You'd think I was trying to set up a banking account. Ugh
Interesting that someone with Firefox 63 is also having problems with this notification system. My problem with Firefox 52ESR is different, I can see the bell icon, it just doesn't actually subscribe when I click on it! @spriggsk Have you tried just deleting the storage folder in your Firefox profile folder? That used to always work in the past for me to restore the OneSignal notifications, but sadly no longer does. Cheers, Dave.
