User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build ID: 20180517113820 Steps to reproduce: I prefer to read articles in a small font (8pt, perhaps) and with text in full width (from one edge of screen to another). I tried setting the reader to maximum content width and minimal font size. Actual results: If the font size is set to minimum, the maximum content width is approximately 50% of my screen width. With bigger fonts I can reach up to 100% width. Expected results: It would be nice if I could set the reader to both minimal font size and full-width content.

Hi, u619010. Thanks for the enhancement request! As you've probably already discovered, Reader Mode has controls for both font size and the padding on either size of the text. It is possible to shrink the default font-size and reduce the padding, but you're right - we don't allow the padding to be eliminated entirely. This is, however, intentional, and is an intentional choice. We feel like the minimal padding improves the general readability of the text. I'm going to close this as WONTFIX, as I don't think we'll be lowering the minimum padding.
