Environment: 
Device: Sony Xperia Z2 (Android  6.0.1);

Steps to reproduce:
1. Tap on URL bar;
2. Start to write a search text;
3. Select the auto-complete text;
4. Delete some characters;
5. Select the auto-complete text another one time;
6. Text something at the end of URL;
7. Delete some characters from the end of your text.

Expected result:
The characters you had written are on the cursor position. The letters deleted are the letters from position of cursor.

Actual result:
Characters written are located on the previous position of cursor, before you selected the auto-complete text. Deleted characters are those witch you have written last time, before you selected the auto-complete text.

Hello, I can confirm that this issue is still reproducible on all branches(Nightly, Beta, Release) using Sony Xperia Z2 (Android 6.0.1).
