Dear Mozilla Team,

could you please look in to this issue!

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Click on the button scroll to selection in the linked codepen.
2. Textarea scrolls to the selection.
3. Move the scrollbar to the top and click on the button scroll to selection again.
4. The Text is selected but the textarea does not scroll to the selection.

Hi Elena,

I'm aware this is a very old issue, but have you by any chance experienced this issue on the latest Firefox version?
I am also not entirely sure what "1. Click on the button scroll to selection in the linked codepen" means and I haven't been able to reproduce the issue myself.
