Not a dup, but quiting from comment in bug 122042:
"Mozilla needs the following graphics shared library packages on the remote
machine: XFree86-libs, glib, gtk+, libjpeg, libpng"
Reporter: Can you verify that the remote machine have these installed?

At least this bug stops me from using mozilla on my NCD-terminal.
Anyway, the problem I see is that mozilla core-dumps whenever I try open it on
my Black-and-White old X-terminal.
Perhaps i misunderstand..
Are you running the display on a monochrome monitor connected to the same
machine as mozilla is installed on - or is it connected to another machine?
Are mentioned libraries installed on the machine mozilla is running and
displaying on?
Can you provide the build ID and a talkback or backtrace?
