In Fennec we have an Accessibility setting named "Use system font size" that will scale web content according to the system font size.
This seems to be disabled in GeckoView (It's off by default in Fennec too).

Oh, may be a duplicate of bug 1460874?

Yes, hopefully I might get around to that after next week or so, when I'm back home. My intention was to only implement a scale factor and the ability to turn on/off font inflation, though, and leave the rest to GeckoView consumers, as some apps might e.g. want to expose a manual font size setting (like Chrome's) instead of the automatic coupling to the system setting.

Sebastian, this feature request does sound like a duplicate of bug 1460874. That bug is priority P3, meaning we haven't committed to shipping it in the first version of Focus+GeckoView. If not fixing it would be a UX regression from Focus+WebView, then we should probably increase the priority of 1460874.
What do you think?

Not a regression. See linked Github issue. I'll copy it over to the other bug.
