It looks like Focus events stopped being sent on 6/19: https://analytics.amplitude.com/mozilla-corp/chart/new/zj9d871

My changes to add desktop support were merged in on 6/14, but there's a pretty good chance they weren't deployed until 6/19 when the job started failing. Since this is the most likely culprit I'm going to try pinning the job to an older release and see if that fixes it for now while we investigate what the actual bug is.
