STR: 1) Open Treeherder 2) Click on an artifact that would trigger a download (a new tab is going to be opened) 3) Cancel or perform the download 4) Don't close the tab, but switch to another one 5) Switch back to the tab where the download happened I get an infinite spinner. I can only reproduce in my profile, and I found this regression range using mozregression: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=1800b8895c08bc0c60302775dc0a4b5ea4deb310&tochange=1ab062fd31db7d4367a479fedb350dc6fcee7a3f. Unfortunately, any build in that range doesn't work for me because of bug 1461045 comment 9, so I can't restrict the range.

No luck reproducing this on my side. Can you reproduce this in safe mode?
