From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc3) Gecko/20020523 BuildID: 2002052309 This has been confirmed by Caltech network support as a client issue. Mozilla does not properly stay connected to an IMAP server with a client time-out. See steps below. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Need server with timeout. 2.Get mail, suspend laptop, send yourself mail from elsewhere. 3.Wait 1 hour, awaken laptop, get mail. Actual Results: Do not get new mail until restart mozilla. Do not get an error message either! Expected Results: Get new mail. Tried to report as "networking-IMAP" but got database error? This may be platform & OS "ALL"?
