Details

In 1.0rc3 on MacOS X 10.1.4, view source isn't working for me. When I go to
View->Page Source, a download dialog pops up that says:

You have chosen to download a file of type:
application/x-unknown-content-type; x-view-type=view-source from
http://members.ebay.co.uk/aboutme/

What should Mozilla do with this file?

This happens with every URL I've tried it on; that eBay one is just an example.
WFM on MacOS X 10.1.4 with RC3 (build ID 2002052305) (tried your bug report, the
e-bay page you gave (though I'm not a member so may have been slightly
different) and the BBC news site. View source from the menu worked fine for all
of them.

Can you provide more details (which method did you use to view the source)? Is
it reproduceable on, for example, your bug report?
WFM Mac OS 9.1 build 2002052305
Duplicate of "[FIX]Can't view source of dll cgi". This is fixed on trunk and
will not be fixed on branch.
