[Affected versions]:
- Firefox 62.0b4  

[Affected platforms]:
- macOS: 10.9.5, 10.11.6, 10.13.4.

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox;
2. Download the installer from http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/candidates/60.0b8-candidates/build1/mac/de/
3. Start the installer, then close it;
4. Download the installer form 
http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/62.0b4/mac/en-US/
5. Run the installer from step 4

[Expected result]:
- The background image for the installer is not affected

[Actual result]:
- The background image scale is affected.

I don't think this is fixable based on my understanding of how Finder background image works.

The metadata (saved as .DS_Store) simply references the image with an absolute path. It doesn't really reference the background image in its own DMG.
