The Font Editor highlights the invalid out-of-bounds values for a slider by showing an error state with a red border around the input field. An explanation message is shown when hovering the input field.

The slider is capped at the limits of the valid range.

This should be changed:

The slider UI should display the full range as defined by the valid range + out-of-bounds limit. It should display the portion of the range that is out-of-bounds with a different visual treatment to signify its invalid state. A user should be able to drag the slider back within the valid range. The red outline of the input field should be removed but the tooltip should remain.
