Here's the smallest test case I could create. I used Mozilla 1.0 RC3 on Linux.

The HTML from the site is not valid and horrible. Is it worth trying to fix
this bug?

content node...

I bet the append to a special inline causes it to be blown away and
reconstructed, and after that the content sink notifies a second time of content
that's already in the frame tree....
