Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0
Build ID: 20180621125625
Steps to reproduce:
I wanted to play content with audio using Firefox version 61 (youtube video, website content containing video)
Actual results:
No sound plays with my current setup although everything worked just fine with previous version. I hear sound when using the regular output from computer (computer speakers) but I use another output device (Universal Audio Apollo) in my studio setup. All other audio from the computer plays normally (including web content when using another browser). In my setup I do not use output 1 and 2 for monitoring. Firefox should recognize the selected audio output just as in previous versions.
Expected results:
Sound should have played just as in previous version(s) of Firefox. I never had this issue before.

Please
1. Open the Browser Console [1] (Cmd+Shift+J). Clear it, then try to play the content. If there are any relevant errors listed, post them here.
2. Post an example link of a file that doesn't play.
3. Enter about:support into the address bar, then click the "Copy text to clipboard" button there.
4. Launch TextEdit. Open the Format menu and choose "Make Plain Text" (or press Cmd+Shift+T). Paste the clipboard contents, then save the file.
5. Click the "Attach File" link above comment 0 to upload the file.

Tom, I'm currently having a look at this kind of issues, would you mind describing your setup in more details? How do you change the "selected audio output" on the Appolo, does it appear as multiple stereo devices, or is there some routing application bundled with it?

Hi Paul,Thanks for your feedback! it's actually quite simple, it seems Firefox audio output defaults to output 1 and 2 of my Universal Audio setup. I use output 25 and 26 as Monitor outputs in my system, all other sound played on the computer regardless of the program, goes to the correct outputs. Firefox, since updating to version 61, does not seem to be able to find the right outputs. And I don't find any way to change the output channels... Cheers, Tom

Hi Paul, so far I never had to change the audio output, all audio from my computer would play over my universal audio interface. Youtube running on Safari works just fine... (but I don't like Safari...).
