User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0
Build ID: 20180702164905
Steps to reproduce:
User dialog boxes (open, save, etc.) require me to click twice on every button. "Open" dialog box for example, if I click "open" the button is activated (turns blue) but no action occurs. Clicking it a second time triggers the action and dismisses the dialog.
macOS 10.13.5, Firefox 62.0b5 20180702164905 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0
Actual results:
Clicking button once activates it, but button must be clicked again to trigger action. Touchbar buttons and UI buttons show same behavior (must be clicked twice).
Expected results:
Button should activate and trigger on first click.
Tested against dialog boxes in another browser (Safari), buttons are activated and triggered on a single click as expected.

I verified this issue on Mac 10.13 with Firefox Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-07-10) (64-bit) and I cannot reproduce it with my own test case: https://jsbin.com/tirogirixu/edit?html,output.
Could you please provide your test page where you reproduce this issue?
Can you please test this in safe mode? Here is a link that can help you: https://goo.gl/AR5o9d.
I think it will be a good idea to retest this on Firefox Nightly. Here is a link form where you can install Firefox Nightly: https://nightly.mozilla.org.
If you still have the issue please create a new profile, you have the steps here: https://goo.gl/Awo6h8.

Weird. Firefox updated today to 62.0b7, no issues. Bug was recurring for some time before I reported it, appears whatever was causing it was resolved between 0b5 and 0b7.

Hi Joshua Nixon,
Based on Comment2 I will mark this as Resolved-WFM.
If the issue is still reproducible with the latest Firefox version, feel free to reopen the bug.
