See the screenshot, there is an underscore just after "storage" but I can't see them.

Very odd.  I can see underscores on other parts of logs and such.  So I know it's capable of printing that character, at least.  :)

Would you provide a link to that job?

I've the same issue with all the logs I can see.
For example: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/logviewer.html#?job_id=188554907&repo=try
I use ctrl+F on "_" and play with "Highlight All" and I can't see any of the underscores.
The depth of the line is not enough, see the lower part of letter "g" for example.

I wonder if this must be something where the font that is used is different on your machine than mine.  I see tons of underscores (screenshot attached).  What type of machine are you using?  I'm on a Mac (High Sierra OS).

Does this issue still occur for you on production?

The log viewer has just been rewritten in bug 1450045. This change is currently only on stage - could you try it there and see if it helps at all? :-)

On prod, I don't see them but it's ok on stage.

Great - so bug 1450045 fixed this :-)

It will be deployed on production sometime in the next week (if not sooner).
