Steps to reproduce:
Apple iMac vers. 10.10.5 (yosemite)
Thunderbird german vers. 52.9.0 (64bit)
Lightning vers. 5.4.9
NO BUG, ONLY MODIFICATION
I like a different way for dislplay events presentation in that way, that fulltime events will be displayed with the background colour like it is now displayed, but events from
only some hours a day should be only the frame of the event displayed in the same colour.
The background should stay white colour. (month display).
So you can see at a glance which events are fulltime the whole day and which events are only for some hours in this day.
Is this possible ? Perhaps with a update ?

Due to the way keywords are written in this bug report's title, I had some difficulty finding it. I would suggest to rename/retitle it like this:
