Two major new features are:
a. "add bookmark" (https://github.com/mozilla-tw/Rocket/issues/1104)
The feature is already release to public in v2.3.

b. "private browsing" (https://github.com/mozilla-tw/Rocket/issues/1909)

And we would also like to have localization (both current existing and new) with
[P1] Thai
[P2] Hindi, Tagalog

Hi Wesley,

I'm helping our community localize content on support.mozilla.org and wanted to make sure you're in the loop for what's going on there with your request.

I am in the process of contacting contributors to ensure as much localization to be completed before the release date as possible.

For now, we have the following articles available in English: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/contributors/kb-overview?product=firefox-rocket - I assume that the two new features you mention in the first comment will have their own new content, too?

As for the locales you listed:

Thai and Hindi are enabled on the support site, so our community can work on them without any additional steps.

Tagalog has been temporarily disabled due to low community and user activity - we can temporarily reenable it for the release and see whether there's interest from users and community in support content localized into Tagalog.

Let me know what you think and if there are any additional details you'd like to know.

Yes. It was Joni who made the previous articles so I'm hoping she is still the goto person.
@Joni. Is this under your radar?

The plan sounds good.
AFAIK Tagalog isn't our blocker but we would love to see it localized.

Sorry for the delay. I've written two articles and updated the overview article. Please let me know if we've missed anything else (besides the localization part).

New articles:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-firefox-rocket
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmark-pages-firefox-rocket

I couldn't get the 2.4 build so I wrote the bookmarks article based on the visual specs. Please let me know if it's wrong or missing any information.

Cool. I'm sending the nightly build apk to you thru email.
As v2.4 becomes internal release only, the first release to public will be v2.4.1 beta on August 10th.

One update: we're naming this version to v3.0. Beta still on August 10th.
BTW. How's the localization going?

For all the content that is still missing in the Knowledge Base, I have reached out to contributors to see if they have the time to tackle that.

More updates soon.
Thank you vesper.
Thai and Tagalog are especially important as we're shipping to Thailand and Philippine on Aug-13th.
Do you think the community will work on these over the weekend?

Hi Wesley.

For Thai, I contacted the same community members who worked on the product localization, as they are subject matter experts by now. I am waiting for their replies.

For Tagalog, we still do not have that locale enabled and my email request sent out to the previously active localizers for that language has not received any replies, unfortunately.

If it's strategically important, I can offer you

1. A Google Translate version of the English content if the community members don't get involved before end of next week.

2. As a secondary step, a version translated by an agency - this requires a few extra steps and budget that we'd have to figure out next week.

Let me know what you think works best for you and the team.

Tagalog localization is nice-to-have so at this moment it's fine to just use the English content.

On my mobile with latest Firefox Rocket 3.0, I set language to Hindi but still get English sumo pages.

This link below works so it should be a bug on the product side...

reported and to be tracked on github https://github.com/mozilla-tw/Rocket/issues/2425
Tagalog is nice-to-have at this moment so I'm closing this bug.
