Details

Select some text in a Mozilla window. change focus to another window. select something else. give the mozilla window focus again -- the selection should still be selected, but greyed. press ctrl+c to copy it. go to another window and attempt to paste it. it will paste the item from the other window. mozilla will not copy once the window has lost focus even if you give it focus again and the selection still exists (although greyed). you have to reselect the text again in order to copy it.
Reporter, please use the Bugzilla helper when you file a bug. Try this problem again on a new build. You can download an updated nightly build from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-installer-sea.exe Close Mozilla and run that program. Running a nightly build can be a little risky. Please back up your Mozilla data first, including your bookmarks. If you'd like, you could wait for 1.0, the next milestone release. That will probably be released within a short period.
no response from reporter for >60 days, resolving WORKSFORME. reporter: if you can reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2), please reopen this bug and give details. thanks.
