Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:61.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/61.0
Build ID: 20180704003137
Steps to reproduce:
Install public beta 2 of Mojave and Firefox as well as 1Password 7 and install the browser extension.
Every time I go to 1Password Mini to auto fill a login, 1Password asks me to install the browser extension when it's already installed.
I already posted this to the developer forms (https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/449489) and they can't seem to reproduce it so I believe it might be an issue with Firefox comparability and MacOS Mojave beta as the issue doesn't exist in the stable version of MacOS High Sierra, using the latest version of Firefox and 1Password.
Firefox has been reinstalled from scratch and the issue is still there.
Actual results:
1Password always asks me to install the browser extension when it's already installed.
Expected results:
The 1Password browser extension is installed once and it would not ask me to reinstall it constantly when it's already installed.

Hello sorenpearson - Is this happening with the latest developer seed?

Sorry this is so late, this was happening with the Public beta seed of MacOS Mojave.

I haven't updated my machine yet to the stable release (I have been busy) but will do so tomorrow and report back.
One workaround I found under the public beta seed was disabling the 1Password extension in Firefox and re-enabling it. This allowed the extension to work without having to reinstall. My system was a fresh install of the public beta seed on a second partition on my SSD. When I upgrade to the stable release, it will be on my main drive, first partition.

I can confirm that this is still happening in the stable build of Mojave. I upgraded from High Sierra. A workaround is to disable the extension and reenable it in Firefox and it goes away but one shouldn't have to do this.
Let me know if you need more details to troubleshoot this.

I have completely removed Firefox and 1Password from my Mac and reinstalled both which solved the issue for a while but the issue has returned.
I think it might have to do with Firefox's native messaging and it is somehow breaking for me.
I'm using MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 public release.
Let me know if you need additional information so we can solve this issue once and for all.

Can you please open the browser console (not the devtools web console, see: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Browser_Console) and paste any log messages that appear when this happens into a comment or attachment on this bug?

Hi, sorry for the delay, I will keep an eye on the issue and if it reproduces itself I will be sure to post the log from the browser console. Thanks Andrew.
