RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 143031

Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020527
BuildID: 2002052721

I'm not sure this is a mozilla problem, but I only see it with mozilla, and I've
started to see it on multiple machines. Running various versions of redhat on
all of them 6.2/7.1/7.3, with enlightenment. Started happening on one machine
suddenly recently, other machine been happening for a while.

Basically, if I click and drag on the bookmarks item on toolbar, it looks like
it switches to drag&drop mode, but it locks up. The document icon freezes in
place, mouse cursor still movable, but nothing responds to mouse clicks until I
kill mozilla-bin.

All other toolbar items, and the bookmarks menu, and other menus, work fine.
It's solely restricted to the bookmarks toolbar item. Also, drag and drop
otherwise works fine, including to folders on the toolbar.

I'm ONLY seeing this with mozilla.

Once this starts happening, it is 100% reproducible, and keeps happening through
reboots, even with fresh mozilla profiles, etc. However, it does not always
start happening. i.e. had problem on home machine for quite a while, but it only
started happening on my work machine today.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to select something in bookmarks toolbar item
2.
3.

Actual Results: drag and drop icon pops up, and locks up X

I'd settle for the moment for a non-source-compile hack to remove the bookmarks
item from the toolbar.
