Actual results:

Twitter emojis are too big in the Linux version, they do not get scaled to the height of one line, in the Windows version they do.
This happens in the mail itself but more annoyingly in the maillist as well where the emoji is placed above the other mails.
This is fixed in version 60. Until then you need to change your font as described in bug 1390015
