People

(Reporter: grayshade, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0
Build ID: 20180718220144

Steps to reproduce:

Press Ctrl-B.

Actual results:

The sidebar opens up on the right side, then moves to the left. This is janky.

Also reported at https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/91py5h/ctrlb_panel_opens_on_the_right_side_of_the_window/.

Expected results:

Sidebar opens on the left.
Actually, it sometimes flashes the same way when closing. It's possible that the sidebar opens on the left side, but has a huge width and pushes the page contents to the right. Try loading https://arstechnica.com/ and keep Ctrl-B pressed. Look for the green "subscriptions" nav link.
